David Ayer took to his Twitter to release this photo of Jared Leto as the Joker for his upcoming film Suicide Squad (2016).
There has been mixed reviews on this look, with negative reactions spawning from the fact he does not look like the traditional depiction of the Joker.
However to me, this is actually a fairly comical adaptation with the fluro green hair and that smile being reminiscent of the Killing Joke.
A couple of negative comment also addressed that fact that “Heath Ledger will always be the best and looks better”.
Excuse me sir, but did you enter a time machine which allows you to portal yourself to the future and see the film?
Looks wise it is the most different Joker we have ever seen and frankly I am happy that he does not look like Heath Ledger because this is what this joker has to be: different. I hope that he will nail this role and put these criticisms to the ground.
